Important Guidelines for Hair Samples:

To ensure accurate results, hair samples must be untreated.

Please do not submit hair that has been:

  • colored or bleached
  • chemically straightened or permed
  • exposed to other chemical treatments

If your hair has been treated, we recommend waiting for at least 1 inch of new growth before collecting your sample. We want the clearest, cleanest data possible to support your healing!

For our remote clients - Instructions for collection will be included in your at-home Hair Sample Kit. You’ll receive easy-to-follow steps and prep info to make the process stress-free and accurate.

New Client Intake Required

Before any hair samples are submitted to the lab, all new clients are required to complete a health history intake and full evaluation appointment. This allows us to fully understand your background and current concerns, and to tailor your testing and healing plan accordingly.
